Diva software 1.10, new features include

Maps:

transcoding

To gain insight of the physical location of camera’s on a site, it is now possible to use maps. A user can import an image of a site on which camera icons can be placed which in turn represent the real location of the camera. By clicking on a camera icon the live video from this camera is displayed in a video panel. It is also possible to link multiple maps to each other. This is useful to quickly navigate through a site.

Webpage interface:

transcoding

It is now possible to access the DIVA from a webbrowser. Live as well as recorderd images can be displayed. The event page makes it possible to review occurred events instantly.

Layout improvements:

transcoding

Several layout improvements are implemented to make setting up and controlling layouts more easier. For instance the ‘Event History’ panel is used to display the images of a number of events.

To make playback of recorded images more accurate extra playback trackbars are introduced.

DIVA System Software v1.4 is now available, new features include:

transcoding
Decoder support
Display decoders are used to add remote monitors to a system without putting a PC nearby. They can be controlled the same way as a VGA montor output. Layouts with videopanels can be displayed, either manually or through the event & macro structure. Simply add them to the monitor tab in the setup menu and they pop-up at the top of the main VGA output.

DIVA System Software v1.3 features:

transcoding
Transcoding
DIVA transcoding gives the option to transcode images from bandwidth consuming cameras (megapixel) to be used for transmission on xDSL networks. This speeds up the frame rate dramatically and enables multiscreen viewing. Every client has individual settings in quality and bandwidth usage. Each camera stream is automatically adjusted to the required display resolution of the client. A network connection of 1Mbs is enough for remote verifying events and viewing live and recorded multiscreen video-images from a location. Together with the event-review options, a very powerful tool for central stations.

transcoding
Analytic support
CarR or FaceR algorithms are now available as a plug-in for DIVA server software, enabling usage of third-party cameras and encoders. Including storage of all generated metadata for analysis afterwards. Event output possible when faces/license plates are found or when a match or mismatch occurs with a specific white or blacklist.

transcoding
New camera support
The following brands and devices are now supported:
AXIS
Mobotix
BOSCH
VDG CCD megapixel

New search engines
New layouts are available for searching into events and metadata for license plates, faces or process metadata with new ObjectR rules or motion masks.
DIVA
DIVA® adds intelligence and comfort to video observation
The power of the DIVA® concept mainly lies in the improvement of compression techniques and algorithms for data transport and content analyses. To avoid intensive data traffic of video related data and heavy processor load of computers and servers we have build the content analysing algorithms within our DIVA® cameras and encoders. Content analyses takes can now be executed with the maximum available image quality and network load will be dramatically reduced. Besides the DIVA® concept offers all possibilities to reliably facilitate other processes, for example access control and authorisation. Object-, scene, licence plate- and facial recognition are intelligent content analysing algorithms that are now executed at the source, which enormously improves the efficiency of camera observation.

The DIVA® concept is built on a communication structure of events, rules, macros and profiles. Each intelligent component with programmable rules generates events; activating a predefined macro. A combination of macros, related to a specific time frame is called a profile. This architecture creates a very flexible video and data management system with virtual unlimited possibilities.
